My favorite color is green: shades of lime, sage, apple, turquoise, and everything in between.  Earthly, calming goodness.  I started several projects using my favorite color but decided to share with you this box I altered.  I started off with a plain wooden, divided box.  I sprayed it with all of the Lindy's greens and aquas I had.

I stamped the flower image and wording on tissue paper, rough cut/tore out the image and then adhered it to the box using Golden's Soft Gel. (It's in the background, barely noticeable)

I did the same thing with the saying.  The tissue trick is a great way to get your image on/in places that are impossible to stamp directly.

I stamped and colored the mermaid on cardstock, cut it out, and adhered it with dimensional tape to the box.  I adorned the bottom of the box with the Coarse Pumice Gel that is in the new August Mixed Media kit and stuck some shells in the gel before it dried.

I finished off the edges by embossing with the Relique Turquoise embossing powder.

You have officially finished the hop and now it's time to back to the PWP blog and leave a comment saying that you've finished the hop.
