WELCOME to Paper Wing Productions July Blog Hop & Giveaway! If you've arrived here from Inna's blog, then you're in the right place.  If you’re just stopping by for a visit, please CLICK HERE to start from the beginning.

This month our color theme is Yellow.  Although I think it's often overlooked, I love yellow for it's warmth and direct homage to the sun.  Participants of the blog hop can register to win a $25 gift certificate to the Paper Wings online store.

For a chance to win all you need to do is:
  • be a follower of the Paper Wings Productions blog
  • visit each of the participating designer's blogs and leave a comment
  • come back and leave us a comment on the PWP blog telling us you completed the hop.
To increase your chances of winning: like our Facebook page and/or invite your friends to the hop.  Be sure to leave a separate comment for each of your additional entries. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, July 8th, 2014 on the Paper Wings Productions blog.

Ok, I admit when I sat down to work on this project I had no idea how I was going to use yellow.  Since it's a bright yet sometimes subtle color I knew I probably couldn't use it as a focal color.  I also knew that I was really wanting to play with the new Tea Time set from Paper Wings.  It turns out that I had an abundance of ideas and I used EVERY STAMP on the set.  I don't think I have ever used every stamp from a set before in one sitting.  I hope you enjoy my cards!

On this card, I used the Faber Castell Big Brush markers to ink up the flower stamp, gave it a light mist and stamped onto the card.  I was able to stamp it twice before reapplying the ink.  The saying and the lace border (around the saying) are from the Tea Time Set.  (Links to all the supplies are at the bottom of this post)

For this card I stamped in black ink and watercolored using ink from the Big Brush markers.  I hand drew the heart on the tea bag tag.  The lace border is stamped on the side (my newest favorite stamp!)

For this card, I stamped the Lace Pattern stamp with the yellow Big Brush Marker, stamped the tea cup on top of it and cut it out.  I also stamped the saying inside the tea cup (meant to fit!).  I also added the heart steam from the clear stamp set Play with your Coffee.  There's that lace border stamp down at the bottom.

This card is fairly simple.  The images all stamped in black with the lace border in yellow and the green background has the Lace Pattern stamped on it.
