Today I made for you an ornament/wall hanging from...you guessed it, another rusty old candy tin.  This time I only used the inside base of the tin.  I stamped and cut out the image from the Waves Magic stamp set.  I colored the image with colored pencils and trimmed it to fit inside the tin.

Next, I glittered the snowy portion of the image and around the edge of the inside of the tin.  I put in a little bottle brush tree I made (I had to cut off the back side of the tree in order for it to fit!).

I cut a sheet of mica to fit the front of the tin and adhered it into place.  I glittered the edge of the mica and front edge of the tin.

To make it hang, I ran ribbon under the little tabs that normally hold the lid on the tin.  I used some glue to keep it in place.

This project was super fast and fun.  I love the results!  Even if you don't have rusty old tins laying around, you could get similar results by using the bottom of a white jewelry box or really any box.
