Happy Friday & WELCOME to the February Paper Wing Production's Design Team Blog Hop!

If you've arrived here from Shay's Blog, then you're in the right place.  If you've just stumbled into the hop, no worries just CLICK HERE to start from the beginning.

This month we’ve whipped up some “Love”ly projects to share with you and we’re even sharing the “Love”!  One lucky follower will win this fabulous blog candy and the chance to be featured as a guest designer in a future hop!!

All you'll need to do is: Be a follower of the Paper Wings Productions blog, The Aviary, visit each of the design team's blogs including our guest designer and leave them a little bloggie love.  Then go back to The Aviary and leave a comment letting them know you completed the hop.  For extra chances to win, just like the Paper Wings Productions Facebook page and/or invite your friends to the hop.  Then just come back and let us know!  Be sure to leave a separate comment for each of the additional entries.  The winner will be announced on Tuesday, February 5th on the Paper Wings Productions blog.

My project this month is an art journal page.  We often use rubber stamps as a focal point and forget what marvelous tools they are in a wide variety of mixed media projects.  I drew a big heart in the middle of my journal, added a stamped sentiment using alphabet stamps, and stamped all over the background.

The Art Textures, Background Writings, and Text Melange sets gets used a LOT in my journals.   They aren't meant to be stamped perfectly, but rather haphazardly to create pattern, depth, and interest in your composition.
I hand wrote the "love" and loosely drew scallops around the heart.  I took a tiny little "love" stamp and stamped around the border of the heart.
I used a white colored pencil and went around the stamped letters and around the heart.  The tip of my pencil was reduced to a nub when I was finished.

Thanks for hopping with me today!  Make sure to head on back to the PWP Blog  Next!!
