My back to back 3rd Saturday for September is coming up next weekend at Stamp Antonio.

Art Journal Club: September-
Metal: This month we will be talking about metal. I will show you was to distress metal, create faux-metal and other metal techniques as well as how to incorporate metal into your collage. Please bring any scrap metal as well as all of your collage gear.



Secret Belgian Binding-
This book features an interesting pattern of weaving that laces the front and back covers to the spine. It has hard covers and will lay flat when opened. A unique and fun binding, with PATIENCE it's easy to learn. Please bring crop-a-dile tool or Japanese screw punch, bookbinding needle, awl, pencil, scissors, bone folder, ruler, PVA glue, and glue brush if you have them.

Suggested Supply List (bring it if you have it)
Distress Inks: (I used Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Antique Linen, Black Soot)
Some kind of shimmer spray in a light color (I used a Peal color from Smooch)
Adhesive (PVA, 3 in 1, Zip Dry)
Red Liner Tape
Scissors
Walnut Stain Distress Stain
Craft Mat
Blending Tool with extra foam pads
Pattern or background stamps

I'm excited to show you a new product called Goosebumps from Tsukineko. Super cool stuff. I managed to buy the second to last bottle at Stamp Antonio. You'll want to be on the wait list for the next batch. I just wanted to warn you ahead of time that they don't have any right now. For those of you who bought some, bring it!
