If I don't return your texts, or answer the phone, or have class samples far enough in advance, or show up on time (or ever even), or answer pm's, or update my website, or respond to emails- please just know that's it's because I'm juggling lots of things. Please don't take it personal :) I appreciate you being patient with me!
I have lots of things in the works. Just give me a little more time and I'll let you know what's going on.
By the way, I love that you read my website! I really do appreciate all of you!
I've been a serious slacker on the blogging. After some much needed prodding from some of my loyal students, I am finally updating!
I suppose that you have already heard that Scrapbook 911 is closing. It's true and very sad. Jennie and I are trying to come up with a new venue to teach the Totally Tim class. We really hate to see this class series end and have already heard of several options to keep it going. We are still having our March class at Scrapbook 911 on Sunday March 13th. I hope you all can make it! We know there won't be anything left to buy, so we will be posting our samples soon so that you have plenty of time to prepare.
On to more positive news!
You can find me Fridays at Stamp Antonio. I will be doing some demos for them and possibly some other things. We have talked about lots of possibilities.
I am still offering all of my monthly classes at Stamp Antonio
Fridays with Carrie will be held Friday March 11th from 10:30-12:30. We are making a wall hanging with all of my favorite tim holtz tools.
Bookbinding Saturday will be on Saturday March 19th from 2:00-5:00pm. This month we will be covering Post bound vs. ribbon bound books- We will make two books. One post bound and one ribbon bound. They are similar yet totally different. Learn which way the boards go when assembling post bound books and we will discuss many different ways to put together a ribbon bound album.
Art Journal Club will also be on Saturday March 19th. This is the morning class from 10:30am-1:00pm. This month we will be focusing on how text can be added to a mixed media collage. We will cover the use of a variety of stencils with ink application on both the positive and the negative parts of the stencil.
We are also talking about repeating some of my past classes that people missed out on. Is there anything YOU would like to see? Let me know, I'd love to hear from you! Hope you to ya'll soon!
