Totally Tim Tags class update

Tuesday, April 5, 2011

Sorry that it has taken so long to hear of any news on our Totally Tim class. After Scrapbook 911 closed, Jennie and I searched out our options for holding the class elsewhere. It is with a heavy heart that I say, at this point there are no viable options for Jennie and I to teach together. We still are great friends and will continue to look for opportunities to work together.

But's not the end! Jennie and I are both still around!

Carrie: I work at Stamp Antonio on Fridays. I also still teach a ton of classes there. I am adding a class called Terrific Tim Techniques. It will generally be held on the 2nd Sunday of the month (which is THIS SUNDAY!). Photos of the class samples are attached. There are two time slots 12-2 and 3-5. In this class we will be making two projects a month which may be a card, tag, ATC, or something else). It's still just $15!

Jennie: Jennie is working at The Scrapbook Store, Inc. on San Pedro. I think she is there at least on Monday and Wednesday mornings, but might be there more. She has all kinds of wonderful classes up her sleeve, including the Totally Tim Tags class. I have been told that their classroom only holds 8 or so people, so be sure and sign up for her classes FAST!

If you haven't visited either of these two stores, PLEASE do! If the message behind Scrapbook 911 and Scrapbook Cottage wasn't perfectly clear then let me tell you how much they WANT and NEED your business. If we want creative stores to hold classes for us, then we need to support them. I know you have lots of great internet options for buying your supplies, but please try and shop local. Not only does it give us a place to have class, it also helps employ some great women. Your sales tax spent locally also gets put back into our community. They probably don't have everything you want, but TELL THEM what you would like to see. Be nice about it. It takes a lot of money to stock a store and they have to pick and choose between thousands of products. When they know what you want to see it helps them out a lot (believe me, I know from experience!!!)

Ok, I'll get off my soap box now :)

I really do hope to see you all soon! I miss seeing your lovely faces and being around your great creative energy. Jennie and I can both be found on Facebook too. If you have not already, friend us! We would both love to hear from you. Feel free to contact me and watch for other big changes that I have coming. Some exciting stuff is around the bend.
